Our Lord Ganapati is known as Siddhi Ganapati. Kuladevata of many families. Devoties are used to perform many sevas. There is religious and harmonious relation between other temple of Mallapur like Shree Gopalkrishna Temple Avadi Math, Shree Durgadatta Mandir, Shri Bhavanishankar Temple Guru Math.

After Gokulashtami all devoties perform Ede Pooja in lotus feet of Shree Mahaganapati. On Karthika Poornima(fullmoon) day. Deepotsava a village festival is celebrated in Guru Math and in Shree Mahaganapati Temple (A family get-together of Lord Bhavanishankar and Lord Ganesha) Vanabhojana.

Every Sankashti celebrated in great festive manner. Devoties of the village attend Mahapooja of Sankashta hara chathurthi. Ganesh is widely worshipped as the god of wisdom, prosperity and good fortune and traditionally invoked at the beginning of any new venture.

Gana Havana

Gana Havana(Gana Homa) is performed twice in a year at the time of Ganesh Chaturthi and Maagha Chauti and apart from this Ganahoma will be performed other days on the request of devotees. Ganahoma is one of the special offerings to Lord Ganesha. It is a worship of Lord Gana + Pati (Ganadhisha) of Ashtadhikpaalakaas, Navagrahas, Ayudhas. It includes Aahutis of Durvanukuras, Ashtadravyas (mixtures of eight different items) 1.Raw grated coconut, 2.Ghee, 3.Jaggery, 4.Wheat flour, 5.Rice flakes, 6.Banana, 7.Sesame (Teel) seeds, 8.Puffed rice(lhaayi) with sugercane pices and for homa jackfruit wood and atti wood sticks are used during Ahutis. Ganahoma will be concluded by offering “Poornahuti (Full coconut with shell & cover)” to Agni Devata (Havana kunda). According to the devotees this seva made them to achieve success in their life and got solutions for their problems.

Ede Pooja

This is most special offerings performed under the lotus feet of Lord Ganesha. Ede means Lunch offering of Panchakhadya (of minimum 21 coconuts) to Lord Ganesha. Serving on 21 Edes. Each ede contains 21 banana leaves(pairs) on that 21 lamps, 21 Areca nuts, 21 betel leaf (pairs), 21 bananas and 21 agarbatties and one extra ede will be kept for the naivedya of Baagil Jattiga. 21 Aratees are offered to God then followed by Mantra pushpanjali & Ashthavidhan seva also will be performed by the Vaidikas and Ede pooja will conclude by Prasada vitaran function to all devotees present.
